ADU rules vary by jurisdiction, and Austin, Westlake, and the county each play by different books. We navigate zoning, setbacks, and permits so you get a legal, appraisable structure, not a shed with a bed in it.
Site and utilities
Foundation for the grade, utility runs from the main house or the street, and drainage that respects the lot. On Hill Country sites, this is most of the real work, and it is the part we do best.
Finished to match
A guest suite should feel like your home, not a rental. We match materials, rooflines, and finish level to the main house so the ADU reads as part of the property, and adds to its value.

Can I build an ADU on my property in Austin?
In many cases, yes, but it depends on your lot size, zoning, and jurisdiction. Austin, Westlake Hills, Rollingwood, and unincorporated Travis County each have different ADU rules. The first thing we do is confirm what your specific lot allows.
What can an ADU be used for?
Guest suites, in-law quarters, a home office, a pool house, or a rental unit where zoning permits it. We build to how you plan to use it, since that drives the kitchen, bath, and utility decisions from day one.
How long does it take to build an ADU?
Detached ADUs typically run several months from permit to finish, with permitting and site work often the longest and least predictable phases. We give you a real schedule at the site walk and publish progress weekly during the build.
