A bar built
for a full house.
A home bar is where the party ends up, so it has to work like one. Real plumbing, cold storage that keeps up, glassware within reach, and millwork that makes the room. We build bars for people who host, not for people who photograph.
The Difference
Built right, from the studs out.
Plumbing and cold, done right
A proper bar sink, ice, and under-counter refrigeration or a dedicated wine and beverage column, plumbed and powered to handle a full house instead of a quiet nightcap.
Millwork and backlighting
Custom cabinetry, backlit shelving that makes the bottles the display, and a countertop material chosen for spills and years of use. Stone, wood, or metal, detailed to match the room it lives in.
Laid out for the host
Bar top height, stool clearance, and speed-rail placement designed around how you actually pour. The best home bars feel like a favorite spot, not a furniture showroom.
Asked Often
Answered plainly.
Do you build wet bars with real plumbing?
Yes. Most of our bars are true wet bars with a sink, ice, and beverage refrigeration. Where plumbing access is hard, we scope the run honestly and tell you what it takes before we commit.
Can you add a bar to an existing living or game room?
Often, yes. A bar is a natural addition to a game room, media room, or open living space. The main variables are plumbing access, power, and how the bar reads against the room's existing finishes, all of which we sort at the site walk.
What does a custom home bar cost in Austin?
It depends on plumbing, refrigeration, stone, and millwork more than on size. A backlit wet bar with premium finishes is a meaningful investment; we quote it after seeing the space. Published ranges are at bijoubuilds.com/cost.
