What a Kitchen Remodel Actually Costs in Westlake Right Now

The real range is $175K to $350K. Most land between $200K and $250K. Here's what separates the ends.

The Short Answer

A high-end kitchen remodel in Westlake currently runs $175,000 to $350,000, with most projects landing between $200,000 and $250,000. The top of that range means Level D or E quartzite, Wolf or SubZero appliances, and really high-end cabinets. Quartz counters, LG Signature appliances, and more cost-effective cabinetry bring you toward the lower end.

High-end kitchen remodel in Westlake right now: $175,000 to $350,000. Most of them land between $200,000 and $250,000. That's the honest middle. Everything below is what moves you up and down inside that range.

What the Top of the Range Buys

At $350,000 you are not paying for flash. You are paying for nothing being compromised. Really high-end cabinets. Level D and E quartzite on the counters. Appliances at the Wolf, SubZero, SKS tier. New floors. New paint. New appliance pulls, new cabinet pulls, all of it replaced rather than reused. Every surface in the room gets touched. That's where the number comes from — not one hero item, but the refusal to leave anything half-done.

How You Dial It Back

You can get under that number. It just has to be deliberate. More cost-effective cabinets. More cost-effective hardware. Quartz on the countertops instead of quartzite. An appliance package like LG Signature Series instead of SKS or Wolf and SubZero. Each of those is a real trade, not a trick. Quartz is a good countertop. LG Signature is a serious appliance. They are just not the same spend, and the room reads differently.

What I'd warn against is dialing back one item at a time with no plan. A kitchen that gets cut piecemeal ends up mismatched — a show-off range next to hardware that feels thin in the hand. Pick the level and commit to it across the whole room.

Where the Money Actually Sits

  • Cabinets. The biggest line item and the one with the widest spread between high-end and cost-effective.
  • Countertops. Level D and E quartzite is top of the range. Quartz is the step down that still looks right.
  • Appliances. Wolf, SubZero and SKS at the top. LG Signature Series is the credible move down.
  • Hardware. Cabinet pulls and appliance pulls get replaced in a full remodel, and the quality gap is felt every single day.
  • The rest of the room. New floors and new paint are part of a real kitchen remodel, not an add-on.

The Honest Middle

Most Westlake kitchen remodels fall between $200,000 and $250,000. That's not a compromise number. That's a kitchen where the cabinets are good, the stone is good, the appliances are good, and the room got finished properly. It is what a serious kitchen in this market costs when somebody is being straight with you about it.

If the number you're carrying in your head is well under $175,000 for a high-end Westlake kitchen, the gap isn't going to close with better shopping. It closes by changing the spec or changing the scope. Better to know that before demo than after.

Pick your level. Spec it all the way through. Don't bleed it down item by item hoping nobody notices. They notice.
