Barton Creek Modern Refresh
Barton Creek, Austin, TX · 2026
Currently In Progress
About This Project
An active Barton Creek renovation of a Tuscan-era hill country house. The work centers on the kitchen and the core living spaces: a plan that interrupted itself is being opened up, and the systems behind the walls are being brought up to the new layout. The gallery runs from the house as we found it through the current phase of construction.
Scope of Work
- Kitchen expanded and reopened to the main living spaces
- Plan opened where the existing structure allowed it
- Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC replanned around the new footprint
- Insulation and air sealing addressed while the walls are open
- Exterior limestone reworked by hand
