About This Project
A completed lakefront retro renovation on Lake Austin. Bold mid-century color, themed bedrooms, a yellow-and-magenta great room with diner-bar living, and a glass-railed lakeside deck. Built as a one-of-one Lake Austin escape that leans hard into its retro identity.
The Build Story
Not every luxury project whispers. This one came with a brief we loved: a Lake Austin escape that leans all the way into mid-century color and does not apologize for it.
Lakefront work is its own discipline, and the quiet half of this build was waterside engineering: a glass-railed deck built for year-round entertaining, moisture detailing that shrugs off the lake, and sight lines that keep the water in view from the great room.
The loud half is the point: a yellow-and-magenta great room with diner-bar living, themed retro bedrooms, and a lime-green sunburst bath executed with the same finish standard we bring to Westlake. Craft is craft, whatever the palette. This one just happens to make people grin at the front door.
